What does the Bay Area Oppositional and Conduct Disorder Clinic do?
We specialize in working with oppositional and defiant children. We work with kids and parents to develop a behavioral management system as well as work with the child on regulating their strong emotions and learning how to get what they want in way that is not aggressive or argumentative. Some children benefit from seeing our psychiatrist for medication, while others may be helped without the need for medication. What we find is that most oppositional kids want to do well, but they often don't have the tools to succeed.  We can help kids and families find their success. ​
